Announcements:
September 16th- Rotary Foundation Board Meeting, Charlene's house 6 PM.
 
September 17th- Rotary Board Meeting, 5:00pm, Morgan’s on Main.
 
September 27th- We are invited (4 spaces allocated) to the Chinese Consulate, see Charlene if interested in attending.
 
September 28th- Woodland Sunrise invites us to join them for the “National Walk to End Alzheimer’s” Walk at Raley Field- 2 mile walk (8:00am-noon), would like to make it a city wide Rotary event.
 
October 5th- District Fall Assembly in Fairfield, at Fairfield High School, see email; October 19, 2019- District Fall Assembly in Redding, see email sent from District.
 
October 5th- Stroll Through History, need docents (need 8), contact Charlene.
 
October 5th- Sunrise Salmon BBQ fundraiser 6:00-10:00pm, Waite Hall Yolo Fairgrounds, Ramon Urbano (president elect of Sunrise) invites us all to the BBQ.
 
October 12th- work day at the cemetery, 9:00-11:00am.
 
October 22th- Tina Akins, District Governor 5160 will be visiting (Board members will meet a little earlier, 4:30pm).
 
October 22th- Yolo County Board of Supervisors- Proclamation being presented to Rotary for eradication of polio.
 
October 26th: Rotary mixer, Berryessa Brewing

Program:
Luna Vista Rotary Member Leticia Villagrana, Bio
Leticia is a home grown girl born and raised in Woodland.  She lives in Woodland with her husband and two children.  She started at the early age of 5 Ballet Folkorico and was a dancer from age 5 until 26, and started teaching dance at 13.  She graduated from UC Davis with a bachelors in Spanish and Chicano Studies.  Leticia is a teacher and mentor too many at Pioneer High School in Woodland, she is currently teaching Spanish 2, 3, and AP Literature.  According to President Brian she always has time for students whether it is before, during or after school. We are so lucky to have this amazing, dynamic, and caring lady join our club.
