Do you know the way to Tanzania?

With President Ewing taking some holiday time, Past President Joe stepped in to run the meeting.  The Fun committee did a wonderful job decorating the hall for the holidays and we had a special bartender (Craig) serving up some yummy home made eggnog.  We also had a special guests with us - our District Governor Elect Gary Vilhauer and his wife Leslie plus Eddi Quiggle & Polly Nelson came to hear just what their husbands were up to in Tanzania.

Dexter gave his presentation about the reboot of our dental clinic now in Zinga, Tanzania (about 35 miles outside of Dar es Salaam).  He gave some background about how the project got started (back in 2009) and the first set up of the clinic.  He then walked us through the new clinic and some of the types of dentistry he performed while there.  He also showed some video of the tool container that Paul organized (in the heat & humidity!) while there and some fun pictures of a trip to Bagmoyo to see 13th century ruins and snakes!!
