Alliance for African Assistance World Refugee Day

The Alliance for African Assistance (AAA) is one of the top resttlement agencies in the United States and recently helped resettle over 1,300 Afghans and 300 Ukrainians in the United States. They also serve refugees overseas through the building of hospitals and other medical resource centers, as well as medical education facilities.

Funds raised at the World Refugee Day Annual Celebration breakfast will support the Child Scholarship Program, an international scholarship program established in 2002 that partners with children and families in Uganda. The breakfast will feature as keynote speaker Masooma Said, who escaped Afghanistan after U.S. forces pulled out. She is now a member of the AAA staff.
