The Rotary Foundation District grant is designed to fund small-scale short-term projects in our community and communities abroad. Funds received are based on our club’s donation to the Rotary International Foundation in the past. We have received $1700.00 for 2019-2020.
The board approved a donation to the Hoover High School Culinary Program for the purchase of an oven conveyor for their food truck.

Our club has committed to a donation of $50,000.00 for the Bitzer Park Performing Arts Venue in partnership with the City of North Canton.
This fall we will be welcoming our new exchange student Magali Eekhof from Belgium.
Please contact Dan LaHaie if your family or someone you know in our school district would graciously host Magali in your home.

Doing Good - The Rotary Foundation - Remember to give to the Foundation every year...

The Rotary Foundation transforms your gifts into projects that change lives both close to home and around the world. As the charitable arm of Rotary, we tap into a global network of Rotarians who invest their time, money, and expertise into our priorities, such as eradicating polio and promoting peace. Foundation grants empower Rotarians to approach challenges such as poverty, illiteracy, and malnutrition with sustainable solutions that leave a lasting impact.

Darrell Wright, Foundation Chair, is asking all members to give $100.00 every club year.

Individuals who have contributed more than $1000 to the Annual Program Fund, the Polio Plus Fund or the Humanitarian Grants Program of the Rotary Foundation are recognized as Paul Harris Fellows. Additionally, individual Rotary clubs may from time to time honor individuals as Paul Harris Fellows. These honorees are individuals who meet high professional and personal standards set forth by Paul Harris. Paul Harris recognition is not limited to Rotarians. Members of the North Canton Rotary Club are proud of their commitment to the Rotary Foundation.
