On October 18th we joined up with the Jackson Township club for our traditional rivalry luncheon at Mulligan’s Pub. The big game is this Friday night…GO VIKES!
The board approved a pledge for our donation for the Hoover High stadium and sports complex renovation with a donation of $25,000 now and $12,500 in 2023 and 2024.
On October 13th we presented our initial check to Tim Walker, Development Director of North Canton City Schools.
 
Our club welcomed our newest member Mike Scarpino on October 13th. Mike is the assistant director at the North Canton YMCA.
Our club donated $4000.00 from our District 6650 grant to benefit Pathway Caring for Children T.R.U.S.T. Camp.      
Pathways mission is to help children and families realize the possibilities of their lives through foster care, adoption, and counseling.
We welcomed our Japanese RI exchange student, Hiroto Take, and his host Mom on August 18th.
We know he loves NBA basketball!

District Student Exchange chairman Bill Wood joined us to say "buon viaggo" to our outgoing Hoover student Abby Dimengo. Past District Governor Steve Wilder presented Abby with her blazer that will be covered in trade pins and buttons when she returns home. Abby with be living with her host family in Italy at the foot of the alps. "Goditi Italia" Abby!
Our Rotary doing good things..
The kids in the North Canton Library Epic Summer Reading Program reached the goals. Our club tonated $500.00 each to the North Canton Cares Pantry and the Stark County Pet Food Pantry.
