District Grant 2017-2018
The board has approved using our new district grant to support Character Counts...
Our club is pursuing the possibility of sponsoring a local Rotary Community Corps Club...
This is a group of people who share our commitment to changing the world through service projects. Rotary Community Corps members plan and carry out projects in their communities and support local Rotary club projects but are not members of a Rotary club.  Membership in an RCC is open to any adult in the community who shares Rotary’s commitment to service but is not a Rotary member. The RCC model is flexible and can mobilize volunteers from all walks of life. Meetings typically take place once or twice per month and dues (if any are set) tend to be minimal. This flexibility encourages diversity in membership and allows members to focus solely on service projects. RCCs also provide their members with opportunities to collaborate with Rotarians and develop valuable leadership skills. See more on the attached link.

Doing Good - The Rotary Foundation - Remember to give to the Foundation every year...

The Rotary Foundation transforms your gifts into projects that change lives both close to home and around the world. As the charitable arm of Rotary, we tap into a global network of Rotarians who invest their time, money, and expertise into our priorities, such as eradicating polio and promoting peace. Foundation grants empower Rotarians to approach challenges such as poverty, illiteracy, and malnutrition with sustainable solutions that leave a lasting impact.

Darrell Wright, Foundation Chair, is asking all members to give $100.00 every club year.

New Member proposal form, information form, club and financial responsibility forms
are downloaded on our ClubRunner page, file list (right side of home page).
The Board of Rotary International, at its June 2015 meeting in Brazil, has expanded membership eligibility in Rotary Fellowships (Such as RGHF) to include family members of Rotarians (not just spouses) as well as anyone who has ever participated in a Rotary or Foundation program. This broader category includes Rotaractors as well as participants and alumni of all other Rotary and Foundation programs, past and present, including (but not limited to):  Interact, Rotaract, Rotary Youth Exchange, Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA), Rotary Peace Fellowships, Global Grant Scholarships, Vocational training teams (members and leaders), District Grant scholarships, New Generations Service Exchange, Rotary Foundation awards to individuals in former TRF programs, such as: Ambassadorial Scholarships, Grants for University Teachers, Group Study Exchange, Rotary Volunteers. Invite your friends, in these new catatories, to join RGHF now at
Members can take short term leave of absence from the club for extended vacations and periods out of town for more than three weeks.  Your absence from the club meetings will not be considered in the count for that period of time.  Please let Joan Cauley  know about your absence.  State the exact dates you will be away in an e-mail to Joan Cauley.
Club Paul Harris Fellows
Individuals who have contributed more than $1000 to the Annual Program Fund, the Polio Plus Fund or the Humanitarian Grants Program of the Rotary Foundation are recognized as Paul Harris Fellows. Additionally, individual Rotary clubs may from time to time honor individuals as Paul Harris Fellows. These honorees are individuals who meet high professional and personal standards set forth by Paul Harris. Paul Harris recognition is not limited to Rotarians. Members of the North Canton Rotary Club are proud of their commitment to the Rotary Foundation.

5 things you might not know about ending polio

The road to eradicating polio has been a long and difficult one, with Rotary leading the fight since 1985. Going from nearly 350,000 cases in 1988 to just 10 so far this year has required time, money, dedication, and innovation from thousands of people who are working to end the
