I have now been here in Sweden for about two and a half months. Although things are still very new, some things are starting to fall into place. I have been on the gymnastics team here for about two months and have my first competition this coming weekend. I now have some close friends at school that I have been hanging out with. We plan on having a Halloween party together this year. I may also host a Thanksgiving dinner for them this year to give them little taste of my culture.

School has been going well. I am in the Teater (Theater) program and am very much enjoying it. My class and I just started to plan our class trip to Berlin Germany at the end of the school year. That should be a lot of fun.

The other exchange students here are really great. We have bonded tremendously in the time that we have been here. Two weeks ago was Kanelbullens Dag (Cinnamon roll day) here in Sweden. I celebrated this day with some of my exchange student friends. We baked some at home and had a little get together that weekend. (The photo is of the exchange students and Bridget in her host family's kitchen.)

Vi ses (see ya),
