Exciting news! The Rotary Foundation has approved a global grant "Corner of Knowledge", co-sponsored by the Rotary Club of Villavicencio and the Rotary Club of Orleans, for a total of $ 35448 US dollars. This grant will provide education to illiterate children in Columbia. Our funding was in part made possible from the May Mother's Day Tea party contribution, plus contributions from other District 7040's Rotary Clubs and individual Rotarians. This project was initiated within our District by PDG Teresa Whitmore. Bravo!
