We enjoyed delicious international cuisine at Gayle and Nabil's home, before receiving an informative presentation by Raj on Slavery, as part of February's Black History Month. Based upon the interest and information, we will host a bigger scale event in February 2026, stay tuned!
Who knew that the United States only received a small percentage of the slaves that left Africa?! Who knew who/what organizations greatly benefitted from slavery?! Our eyes were opened more fully as the information sank in. Thanks Raj for your dynamic presentation!
