Cardinal Creek Residence - Helping the Community
At our evening meeting held Wednesday, March 25, 2026, the Assistant Director of Care, Tanisha Kelly and her co-worker, Alma Cook from Cardinal Creek Village here in Orleans came to our meeting to present a Community Service/Volunteer opportunity for our members coming soon at Cardinal Creek Residence.
This new "Home" for residents that require 24hr nursing, personal care and/or dementia support will include 134 single occupancy rooms and 90 shared rooms that includes a philosophy that emphasizes "Person Centred Care" supporting the emotional, social and/or spiritual needs of their residents.
A big thank you to CA Robertson for making the connection and inviting these passionate, dedicated women to join our meeting and make their presentation.
Once the "Home" is opened, the Community Service Committee will be providing more information about how members can apply to volunteer and help make a difference people's lives in our community.
