The May 29th Petrie Island clean up is postponed to a later date due to the stay-at-home order that has been extended to June 2nd.

In order conform with the health guidelines, volunteers are requested to bring their own gloves, masks, sanitizers, water in refillable bottles, and snack if required. Other helpful items would be “pick up stick, and safety jackets”.

Volunteers will be provided with t-shirts compliments of Professional Engineers Ontario-Ottawa.   Phil McNeely has also graciously offered to provide a pizza lunch for volunteers.  Pizza lunch will be at the Petrie Island Canoe Club green building at 11:30 where commodore Kennedy will say a very few words about her club which we have supported through the years and the plans she has for the future.

The Petrie Island Clean Up is the Rotary Club of Orlean's contribution to the larger Rotary District 7040 initiative: The Great Lakes & Watershed cleanup for RD7040,
