Western Doctor Goes East

Doctor Derek Younge showed slides and gave a very humourous commentary on his time in Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates.

Dr. Younge, the newly arrived orthopaedic surgeon at Stanton, showed us slides of his time as a surgeon in several Middle Eastern hospitals. Despite quality facilities, the lack of doctors was evident in the treatments that went un-performed and which, once done, made a huge difference in the lives of men and women living there.
