Paul Harris Fellows

Barry Talbot, pictured here (left), along with Walt Humphries, were honoured in June 2009 by the Rotary Club of Yellowknife with Paul Harris Fellowships.
At our July 9 meeting, speaker Garth Wallbridge talked about what it means to be a Paul Harris Fellow, and highlighted some of the Rotarians and other members of our community that have received this honour in recent years. A Paul Harris Fellowship is Rotary's recognition of individual Rotarians who
sustain the Rotary Foundation's good work by making a minimum donation
to it of $1000 USD. In Yellowknife, we choose to award Fellowships to Rotarians and non-Rotarians who have rendered tremendous service to our club and community.
Our historical records have some gaps. There was discussion of making a plaque or other permanent recognition of recipients.
