He served as president of the Club during the 2007/2008 year.

During his time as president, he was a true to the motto: "Renewing Our Commitment". Ken is always a committed Rotarian and can be spotted at Rotary events, such as the Bike Auction, the Canada Day Parade, Rotary Roses, representing Rotary at the Yellowknife Spring Trade Show, and he is actively involved in the Kids Ahead Reading Program.

Ken and his wife Margret have opened their hearts and home to 7 Rotary exchange students and dozens of Northern Experience high school students as well as students who have been part of the Tiptoe Through the Caribou northern experience. Canadian and international students have received a warm Northern welcome, thanks to Ken and Margret Woodley.

In addition to his Rotary contributions, Ken is active in the Yellowknife community in other ways.
