Club Welcomes Priyanke de Silva
Priyanke "Tony" de Silva arrives in Yellowknife, less than one month ahead of his induction to Yellowknife Rotary on 29 January 2009.
Priyanke de Silva has an attendance record none of us can match. He has been in Canada for exactly four Thursdays. And, he has attended four Rotary meetings! At his fourth meeting, one day shy of his month "anniversary" in Canada, Yellowknife Rotarians welcomed Priyanke to our ranks.
A techologist by profession, Priyanke has varied interests and skills, including electronics, mechanics and IT. His daughter was a member of Interact in Sri Lanka. On her first day at her new Canadian high school, she joined the St. Pat's Interact club.
