Last Meeting's Program
Last week's meeting featured Plant City Manager Bill McDaniel and Director of Solid Waste, Jill Sessions.
Bill and Jill went up the hill to fetch a pail of trash. They both looked around,
and quickly found,
there was a better way to save some cash!

Automated Waste Collection
(aka "Cart-to-Curb")
This service is being introduced to Plant City this summer after the City looked at the cost to replace and maintain its current fleet of waste management vehicles and equipment. A study concluded that converting to an automated trash pickup system would not only be more efficient and safe, but would save money over the long term.
