This week’s program included a Paul Harris Fellow presentation by Tim Kip to Aaron Davis.
The Paul Harris Fellow recognition acknowledges individuals who contribute, or who have contributions made in their name, of $1,000 to The Rotary Foundation. Our Club not only has several Paul Harris Fellows, but has several members who have multiple Paul Harris Fellows.
Rotary established the recognition in 1957 to encourage and show appreciation for substantial contributions to what was then the Foundation’s only program, Rotary Foundation Fellowships for Advanced Study, the precursor to Ambassadorial Scholarships. These funds are spent on humanitarian efforts around the world.
The Rotary Foundation is another great way to support Rotary International, and the Paul Harris Fellow is an achievable level of support that can be obtained over month or years. If you have never considered contributing to The Rotary Foundation, please take a moment to learn more about it and to include it in your philanthropic efforts.
Special thanks to Aaron Davis for your continued support of the Plant City Rotary Club and the Rotary Foundation!
