Member Spotlight
Christine Miller
     Christine Miller is President & CEO of the Greater Plant City Chamber of Commerce, where she is committed to meeting the needs of the community, with a dual concern for business and quality of life. She is an influential community leader and a driving force behind the promotion of commercial, industrial, agricultural, and civic interests in the Plant City and East Hillsborough footprint. Christine forges strong connections and lasting relationships with strategic leaders to create a more remarkable place to live and do business, consistently striving to fulfill the mission of promoting economic prosperity through innovative leadership, advocacy, and collaborative community engagement.
     Prior to transforming the Greater Plant City Chamber, Christine overhauled the United Food Bank, catapulting it to multimillion-dollar fundraising success while setting and exceeding her personal goal of serving and empowering over a million persons in need. She is a strong community advocate and business partner, building committees, consortiums, and alliances to execute on mutual strategy.
Mrs. Miller’s expertise spans the public and private sectors, corporate America, small business ownership, not-for-profit, and non-profit industries. She has achieved numerous career awards and accolades, but is most proud of being honored with the Wonder Woman Award, taking 1st Place at Dancing with the Locals and being featured in chapter three of Senator Marco Rubio’s book, American Dreams.
     Christine proudly serves on the Executive Board of the Florida Association of Chamber Professionals (FACP), FACP Advocacy Committee, Student Affairs Development Council for Florida State University, Plant City Economic Development Corporation Board and Plant City Main Street Board, Ex Officio, is a Leadership Plant City Alumni, an Aspire Club Board Member, is the CEO of the Plant City Chamber Foundation, is proud Rotarian and 3-time Paul Harris Fellow.
     She holds a Bachelor of Science in Resource Economics from the University of Massachusetts, a Post Crisis Leadership Certificate from the University of South Florida, and a Master of Public Administration from Florida State University. Christine resides in Plant City with her husband of almost 25 years, Les, a lifelong Plant City resident, and her three children. She enjoys reading, hiking and is happiest when spending quality time with her family and friends.
