Stories of success and gratitude were shared at the meeting as various members recapped the Club's 48th Wild Game Cookout.
The common theme was "smooth" and "well done" as all Rotarians pitched in to make this year another success. A preliminary count reports over 1,050 tickets sold, and a very successful raffle and 50/50. Stay tuned for a final report.
Thanks to all Rotarians and Committee Chairs, and certainly special thanks to co-chairs Brian "Gumby" Griffin and Doug "Tireless" Watson.
Next, fellow Rotarian Jake Austin from the Plant City Economic Development Corporation updated the Club on the recent business projects that landed in Plant City.
Make no mistake: The EDC has been, and will continue to be a key resource that defines the health and success of Plant City. The EDC staff and board leadership are thoughtfully and diligently working to attract and retain quality businesses to Plant City, which helps ensure healthy tax roles and job opportunities for the community.

With six cards remaining, it is little surprise that the winning Four of Clubs was drawn last Monday by Terry Jones. There's no photo of Terry with his lucky card, as he quickly dashed out after pocketing nearly $700.
