Dolly Parton's Imagination Library

 

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Canada is a free book gifting organization devoted to inspiring a love of reading in the hearts of children everywhere. Each month, enrolled children receive a high quality, age appropriate book in the mail, free of charge. Children receive books from birth to age five.

 

Inspired by her father’s inability to read and write Dolly Parton started her Imagination Library in 1995 for the children within her home county of the United States. Today, her program spans four countries and mails over 1 million free books each month to children around the world.
