Rotary Club of Whitecourt sent a handful of students to RYLE and Adventures in Citizenship youth programs spring 2025. The students presented their experiences to the club and some even volunteered at our big fundraiser Lobsterfest! RYLE
The Rotary Youth Leadership Experience (RYLE) brings High School aged students from across District 5370 to Camp Nakamun for a four day leadership developmental camp packed with workshops, speakers, and experiences that build confidence, communities, and empowerment.
ADVENTURES IN CITIZENSHIP
This annual event provides a unique opportunity for a select group of young Canadians to come together and gain a better understanding of our country. Through meetings with political leaders, senior officials, and others, they learn a great deal about the workings of our democratic institutions. Through meeting one another and having discussions among themselves, they learn to appreciate the diversity of Canada and privileges and responsibilities of citizenship.
