Each year our Club donates $1200 to the ShelterBox Canada program. ShelterBox reached out to us to let us know our club's most recent donation went directly to providing tarps, kitchen sets, mosquito nets, LuminAID solar lights and blankets to families in Niger.

More about ShelterBox:
ShelterBox delivers the essentials people need to begin rebuilding their lives in the aftermath of a disaster. The aid they supply comes in the form of ShelterBoxes and ShelterKits. The sturdy green ShelterBoxes contain family-sized tents specially designed to withstand the elements and provide people with temporary shelter until they are able to start the process of rebuilding a home. The ShelterKits contain all of the essential tools people need to start repairing and rebuilding homes straight away.
Their kits and boxes contain the items that help transform shelter into a home, like cooking sets, solar lights and activity sets for children.
