My name is Kathy Lee Munro and I’m the Rotary Club of Whitecourt’s President for the year 2018-19. I am originally from Nova Scotia and moved to High Level, Alberta in 2011 where I spent 3 years before moving to Whitecourt.
I knew when I moved to Whitecourt that I wanted to be more involved in the community and the Rotary Club of Whitecourt welcomed me immediately. I felt a huge sense of belonging; became friends with the members and started making an impact in our community. I felt drawn to the Koats for Kids winter wear collection and distribution event and became the chair of this wonderful project for 2 years.
I absolutely love working with the members of this small but mighty club who in addition to completing community & international projects and many other ventures, also like to have fun!
