Canada's First Stroke Ambulance

This fall Canada's first stroke ambulance will arrive at the University of Alberta Hospital.  And it will be the first in the world to provide stroke care to patients beyond a major urban centre.

That means residents o f Whitecourt will have access to the very best stroke care in the world - when they it most.  The full cost of the stroke ambulance - #3.3 million - will be funded by donors to the University Hospital Foundation's Brain Centre Campaign.
