Meeting Notes - June 19, 2012

Gilroy Rotary's Polio Plus fund received a generous donation of $110 from Wasser Graphics. They contributed a portion of the proceeds of the sales they made at our noon meeting. Their products, in case you missed it, are Rotary wear - shirts, jackets, hats, etc. Many members made a purchase. Thanks to Wasser Graphics, and to the participating members.













Wine Pavilion sign-ups are now being circulated. Marco passes a clipboard sign-up sheet around at the meeting so make sure you get your hands on it if you want to volunteer at the Garlic Festival - and what Gilroy Rotarian doesn't want to volunteer?

Paul Vanni is also passing around a sign-up sheet. His is for the Bone Marrow tent, which is located right next door to the wine tent. Please help here if you possibly can. Bone marrow donor registrations are very easy now that they don't have to take blood.














If you want a Rotary Logo shirt to wear for the Garlic Festival, Rick Patereau is selling them. They are $30 each, $35 for larger sizes, and they are embroidered by Dave Peoples at The Nimble Thimble. Contact Rick to place your order and to make arrangements to pay him. The Sheriff this week was stand-in Kurt Michiellsen. After all was said and done, almost everyone had a good time and a lot of money was colected for the club. That's all that matters!




The program today was Red Badge bios, and the only new member available was our newest member, Noah Walker. Great to hear from Noah, and to get to know about his life and family. Welcome to Gilroy Rotary!

Debbie Hoey and Jaime Rosso gave their getting-to-know-you bios too. It's good to hear from long-time members as well as new members. Thanks Debbie and Jaime!
