Visiting Rotarians: Phil Fortino from Hollister & Barry Haaser Morgan Hill

Lori Freedman gave the pledge and invocation.

THE BAR IS OPEN

Membership Minutes by Kathleen Rose; in the Surveys submitted, someone made a comment, “I have someone that I think would be great for Rotary but I have not approached this person. What if this person has been presented and rejected?” Answer. Submit the name to our Chari, Dorie, or to one of the members ( Rick Patereau, Deanna Franklin, Kurt Micheilssen, Joel Goldsmith, Marco Renella; Bob Kovacs or Bobbi Jo Palmer)- and we will confer with each other and with the Board and give you the thumbs up or share our concerns. You are right, it is best to check with us-although it is rare that we don’t move forward on a sponsorship, it does happen.

Movie Night is Tuesday November 13th, don’t forget! There are 98 people signed up so far.

December 15th is our Red Carpet Christmas Celebration. Limited tickets available sign up now to ensure you receive Star treatment!

There is still time to make a pledge to the Rotary Foundation. If you pay before December your name will be entered into a raffle to win a vacation.

We will be dark on November 20th and Club Assembly will be rescheduled.

No winner for Bone Marrow Raffle.

Ricardo was sheriff and the most interesting fine was Don Christopher being fined for pledging one million dollars for a Sports Complex for Christopher High School.

Our Veterans were honored and Bob Wagoner was the presenter of the day. The veterans that shared their stories were Larry, Rick P., Marv, Tim Day, Denise, Peter, Lloyd, & Hamdy was an honorary veteran for his service in the Egyptian Army. It was an honor to be in the same room with these individuals who served our country.

Club Raffle winners were Susan Patereau (Again!) and Phil Fortino (Again!).
