Queen of Hearts Drawing:

Steve Vandette's table won the table drawing, and are responsible for the banners, flag and selling tickets this week.

The Queen of Hearts pot is currently $614 and there are 23 cards left.

Connections Leadership Conference

The annual Rotary / Connections Program Leadership Conference will take place on Friday September 27th from 9:30 to 1:30. Volunteers needed to run the Rotary Challenge station and general chaperoning on the grounds. Looking for supportive, happy people that want to enjoy the day's events with the students in the program. The previous nine events sold out, and we are well on course to do so again (we are three-quarters sold), so get your tickets today. There are only very limited reserved tables still remaining.

Firefighter Gear

The Rotary Club of Strongsville was able to provide support to ship old firefighter gear, no longer of use to Strongsville, to the firefighters in Honduras. The used equipment no longer meets US safety standards, but is priceless to the firefighters in Honduras due to their lack of funding.
