Charles Ritzler will be speaking to us about the all the interesting work in conservation and research that we don't usually hear about being done at our wonderful Zoo. Queen of Hearts Drawing:
 
Brian Krusz's table won the table drawing, and are responsible for the banners, flag and selling tickets this week.
 
The Queen of Hearts pot is currently $662 and there are 21 cards left.

Senior Christmas Lunch / Breakfast with Santa

Volunteers needed in December for the Senior Christmas Luncheon on Friday December 6th, and the Breakfast with Santa on Saturday December 7th.
 
After the meeting on the Friday we need help setting up the room, and then about 30 volunteers to help serve from 10:30 - noon.
 
Then on Saturday we'll need help with the Breakfast with Santa from 9-10:30am.
 
Please mark those dates in your calendar, and we'll start sign up sheets closer to the day.

Clothing Drive

 The Rotary Club of Strongsville will once again be holding its annual clothing drive.
 
There will be collection boxes at the Strongsville Rec Center and the YMCA in North Royalton, and we will also collect clothing at our Friday meetings at the Strongsville Senior Center.
 
If possible please presort clothes into bags, e.g. women's, men's, coats.
 
The clothing drive will finish on October 31st, 2019.
End Polio Now
The club is focusing on the End Polio Now during October following Stew Buchanan's recent presentation.  All fines and happy bucks will be donated towards the End Polio Now fund.  If you wish to donate extra you can donate through our foundation at http://trcs.info/polio.
