Hoping everyone is having a wonderful new year thus far and settling back into normal way of life after the typical hustle and bustle of the holiday season. I am very excited what the new year has to bring to the Rotary club of Newtown.
We will be starting the new year with several new members, joining our organization, and we also have new applications being submitted. Moving forward, we are looking to streamline the process and get our new members acclimated with all of our service projects and committees.
This weeks lunch meeting will not have a guest speaker. However, we will have a few members giving classification speeches, so I’m hoping we can all join to show our members support as we learn about their personal and professional lives. Immediately following our lunch, our Board of Directors meeting will start promptly at 1:30 PM.
I hope everyone has a terrific week, and as always, please invite any guest who is interested in serving our community.
