Good day fellow Rotarians, I hope everyone enjoyed your weekend and had a fantastic week of serving others within our communities. As I sit here in Mexico while on vacation, reflecting on the good that our club has done in the past, and also what we are about to achieve this coming year, it warms my heart and again, cannot be more proud of the work that we all have done and are building upon for our 70th year. Speaking of which, we had a wonderful allocations committee meeting and if anyone has any suggestions for a Rotary donation, please let me know, and we will send the required form to be filled out for consideration. I have promised my wife that I would keep this short this week… So in closing, I hope to see as many rotarians this Wednesday for lunch at the Temperence House as we have a great guest speaker from a local organization called Thrive… They are an Acton Academy, and the owner Anna could not be any sweeter. As a matter of fact, my daughter, Angela worked at this school for her first teaching opportunity, and because of this experience, she decided to move forward with an early education major as she fell in love with molding the minds of young people… Anna does a great job, and I hope you can all come out and show her support as she explains exactly what her Academy does.
