Dear fellow Rotarians,
Well, we did it again… Another fabulous lunch meeting with 24 attendees sharing positive vibes and great information sharing. I would like to acknowledge a few of our members who are also doing great things for our community through their own businesses… Congratulations to Kristine Quinby of Potential Inc. for raising over $20,000 from their annual car show. And kudos to Mark Gatta and Volkan Andic of Opus Elite Real Estate for raising $25,500 for the Barkan Foundation from portions of real estate closings they’ve had this year. This is just another fine example of what Rotarians do… Service above self and helping others in need.
Speaking of those in need… We had a tremendous turnout for our semi annual food drive at McCaffrey‘s benefiting the Wrightstown food cupboard. Local resident, friend of the Rotary and philanthropist Gene and Marlene Epstein have graciously challenged our community to match any cash donation up to $1000 over the next 10 days… If anyone would like to make a donation on their own, please do so either by check or Venmo. Like the old saying goes, many hands make lighter work, I would like to thank all of you who have volunteered your time on a Saturday to help make this service project a raging success.
