Greetings fellow Rotarians,

We had a stellar Rotary week… Great lunch meeting with 24 attendees and several guest. We learned about adopt a South African preschool and our club will be considering teaming up with another local club as part of our international presence and a potential grant . Our financial planning committee and allocations members met and came up with a budget for our fiscal year which will be proposed at our next board meeting. The membership committee has been busy sorting out new member applications and new protocols moving forward to streamline the process of becoming a new member of our growing club. Marketing and PR has never been stronger and our message continues to grow !!!

The Newtown Rotary Club has just completed another service project, this past Saturday we had several of our members collecting trash along our “adopt a highway” location on Richboro Road from the Newtown bypass all the way down to just passed Tyler State Park entry… Everyone made it back safe and the footprint left on our community is as clean as it will ever be.

I hope you all can join us again this Wednesday at 12:15 PM at the Temperance House for another lunch meeting as we officially welcome several new members into the club.

We do not have a guest speaker this week as we have a board meeting immediately following lunch.

As always, we are looking for people of action who want to give back to their community… Please spread the word and bring a guest. Lunch is $17 per person and looking forward to seeing everyone.
