Hello everyone,
Thanks again to all of our sponsors and volunteers for our first Easter Egg hunt. The planning and setting up went great with one minor hitch.......we had a major downpour right before it started and everyone got soaked. I'm pretty sure the kids still had a great time even though their parents may not have. Still, a successful event.
We will be having our regularly scheduled lunch meeting at The Temperance House this wed 4/13. We will be having a guest speaker. Our guest speaker this week is John Engelhardt of Council Rock A.C.H.I.E.V.E. We will also be having a Newtown Rotary Board meeting directly after lunch.
Upcoming Events & Items of Note:
- Ukraine war relief donations can be sent to our Venmo account is @newtownrotary. please indicate the donation as "Ukraine" in the memo
- April 13th after our meeting we will be having a Newtown Rotary Board meeting.
- April 22nd 9am to noon - Arbor Day - Officer Gregg Memorial Park - Need volunteers to help kids with plants
- April 30th - Newtown Rotary Road Cleanup
