As one of The Rotary Club of Hillsborough’s oldest traditions, club members distributed thesaurus dictionaries to third-graders in Hillsborough and Manville this week. A few lucky recipients found a surprise inside their books - a “Golden Ticket” that can be redeemed for a free night of thrill rides at the club’s 2026 annual Rotary Fair to be held next August. The students were asked to look up the word “Charitable” to help them understand the mission of Rotary and to consider its role in their own lives.
