Jeremy  was a home beer brewer, when he decided to leave his job and, with his brother, start Flounder (Jeremy's nickname from a character in the movie Animal House). He was the first microbrewer to receive a start-up loan from Jim Koch, founder of Sam Adams, and was featured as such on a CBS' Sunday Morning episode about Koch.
