Robert Chessia was our entertainment of the evening, and entertain us he did, with a fountain of knowledge about Scituate's own, Thomas Lawson!
Thomas Lawson was a unique character that was bigger than life itself, and Robert Chessia was a veritable human library on Lawson and his life here in Scituate.  The marvelous slide show presentation consisted of splendid archival photographs taken by Thomas Lawson's own personal photographer, who was constantly at his side.
It was difficult to say good-night to the program and let Robert Chessia retire to his home.  Thank you, Robert, for a fantastic presentation.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:15.

Respectfully submitted,

Lois Brandes
