Jason Foot came and spoke to the club about Camp Norris, the scout camp in Kingston. Our club has donated $500 this year again in support of the camp. The residence for the camp supervisor has a new bed and bath. There is a new plastic board to carry people in case of an injury. Jason presented a framed plaque of appreciation to the club.

There will be a Rotary fund raiser at White's on Sunday, June 27th. This will be a brunch from 10:00 to 1:00. The cost for the tickets is $25. Please contact Dietrich if you would like to attend.

Jeannie O'Donoghue spoke about flood insurance. Jeannie works for her family's insurance company - O'Donoghue Insurance. The company offers car, home, boat, commercial and flood insurance. Anyone is eligible to purchase flood insurance. Regular home owners insurance does not cover damage from a flood. The usual coverage for the insurance is $250,000. Fema writes all flood insurance policies. The policy covers heaters, water heaters and customary equipment in the basement. It does not cover furniture and carpeting in the basement but does cover such items on the ground floor of a residence. Please call Jeannie if you have any questions regarding flood or any other type of insurance.

Respectfully submitted,
