Program: Mike introduced the speaker: John Michalczyk:  "Kenya Film Project/Visit to the Rotary Peace Center, Bangkok" . John talked about his trip to the Rotary Peace Center, Bangkok earlier this year to teach the Rotary Peace Fellows there. He showed two film clips. One film focused on the conflicts in Kenya in 2007-2008. It included scenes of the conflict violence, the slums, showed where Rotary's helped, Jesuit Center helped. It included the Capstone Ministries Program with Dan & Patty Schmelzer, and interviews with those affected by the conflict. John described the involvement of Rotary/Capstone, the role of taxi drivers (bikes), clean water, and Medical Outreach programs. The film showed the President of Kenya speaking on the conflict. The 2nd film clip focused on "The Capstone Ministries" with Dan & Patty and Rotary. This program helped street boys with education, rehabilitation, restoration and guidance for their families.
