Treasurer Report: Jeannie The bill for Dec. dues for members will be included on the January bill. There is a $10 increase this year in dues. Can pay the membership bill to International Rotary.

Secretary Report: Joan 

DARE graduation is June 11th at the High School at 7:00 PM Three people said they would attend.

South Shore Council of Rotary Clubs After The Holiday Party at Neighborhood Club in Quincy on January 21st at 6:00 PM Cost: is $35.00 per person. Must send in reservations by January 14th. For more information go to:

Read e-mail asking each club for a basket donation for the silent auction. Jeannie said she has a pasta and wine basket that was given to her that she would donate as our basket. She will bring in the basket at the next meeting.

Rotary Rose Parade Float was a Teddy Bear Float and it was on TV

Jamie was in LA and saw the picture and article about the rotary float on the front page of the "LA Times"

Scituate Library Book Fair is: Sat. Jan 22nd And Sun. Jan 23rd

Jamie has some hard cover books he can donate.

Sent Thank You letters to the businesses that let us sell the Christmas paper trees. Will send letters to Marshfield business and others new business that I didn't have. Bob said when you visit these business thank the managers for their support.

Jack thanked all who helped in Marshfield.

Membership report I received from International didn't have Eric on the list.

Foundation Treasurer: Joe said we have made $7,500 so far with the Christmas paper trees.

He gave money to Dick for the tree expenses. Dick returned a check for $226.36 to go to the Rotary Foundation. In addition we do have money in the emergency fund. We can help out the victims of the snow storm. Jamie said we will discuss this at the board meeting next week on Wed. at 5:30 PM. He suggested we donate $500 or a thousand dollars to a fund for them. Janet said we have $10,000 in the emergency fund.

Jack suggested something should be done for the firefighters who rescued the people. Bob said there is a Coalition meeting next Wed. at the Unitarian Church to discuss where funds are needed Announcements:

Bob: Sunday is the "Concert of Lights" at St. Mary's at 3:00 PM

.Lambert will be playing the organ. We need five people to help give out programs. The donation will be for the food pantry.

Jeannie: Queen $366 total $186 split

Queen of Hearts: Janice--no Queen of Hearts

Program: Phone Book put contracts of former clients in envelopes and stamp for mailing
