Rotary Newsletter December 01, 2010: Cardinal Cushing School Christmas Party
The Christmas Party for the Cardinal Cushing School was held at the Barker Tavern.

Sandi Schmitz welcomed everyone and thanked the Barker Tavern for having the party at the Tavern and for their donations of the service and meals to the school students and staff. She thanked the Barker Tavern volunteers and their families that helped. They have been doing this for several years.
President William Clark welcomed all the guests and the students and teachers of the Cushing School.

Each club member had a student that they had purchased a gift for and that student sat with them at their table.
A delicious meal of salad and turkey dinner was served by the Barker Tavern volunteers. Followed by ice cream Sundays.
Then our own Santa Claus went around and greeted everyone. He and Mrs. Claus gave out the gifts to each student. All were delighted.
We then had music by Mike Tucker and all had a great time dancing including some of our members and guests. The rest of us enjoyed watching all with their different styles of dancing.
Needless to say all had a great evening.
