The Rotary Club Auction is an annual event not to be missed! This year's theme Big Hats, Bow Ties & Bourbon is a play on the Kentucky Derby and attendees are encouraged to dress in derby attire. Prizes will be awarded for best dressed and horses will race in support of various charities. Jim Fagan will emcee the event and if you’ve attended our auction in the past you can likely imagine the antics and entertainment attendees will experience.
The Rotary Club of Quincy is celebrating our centennial year in 2023 and will showcase a Century of Service at our annual auction in the spring, our Centennial Gala being planned for the fall, and projects throughout the year. For 100 years, Quincy Rotarians have volunteered and raised funds for many local, national and international non-profit organizations.
Our annual auction will be held on Wednesday, May 3rd at 5:30 PM at The Neighborhood Club of Quincy featuring a Big Hats, Bow Ties & Bourbon theme. Individual tickets are available for $50. Table hosts at the sponsor levels of silver and above will receive ten tickets, a “horse” to name, and can select a charity to receive a portion of the winnings. We are collecting donations for the silent and live auctions.

With your support, we were able to contribute $50,000 in 2022 to scholarships, local charities and international service projects which make our community and the world a better place. We partner with so many but some of our member favorites include:
Contributing over $1 million in college scholarships for Quincy students
Collecting clothing and essential items for at-risk, housing insecure students
Reading and distributing Josh the Otter Water Safety & Awareness book in elementary schools
Serving meals and hosting bingo bringing joy and fellowship to seniors
Sponsoring Wreaths Across America, sending care packages to service members, and cards for Veterans.
International service project for the Friends of Thai Daughters Sunflower Organic Farm which helps prevent child trafficking through education, shelter, and love. Partnership with the Maechan Rotary in Chiang Rai, Thailand.
The Rotary motto is Service above Self, and in addition to funds, many of our members provide service to the beneficiary organizations. Our goal for our 100th year is ambitious as we hope to raise $100,000 in support of education, local charities, and international projects.
We truly appreciate our past supporters and look forward to another successful year.
