(Pawtucket, RI) The Rotary Club of Pawtucket is pleased to announce ticket sales for the Rotary4Corners raffle.  The local club is selling raffle tickets for a chance to win a vacation trip package for two people to one of the four corners of the world.  The Rotary Club of Pawtucket has partnered with Collette Vacations to offer the winner of the raffle to choose from a variety of trip options including itineraries to Italy, Ireland, China, Costa Rica and Panama. Other prizes include $2,500 cash and a television entertainment package valued at $1,500.

“We are raising money to support our local Rotary Foundation’s giving and service projects,” said Thomas A. Mann, Jr., Vice President of the local Rotary Club of Pawtucket who is co-chairing the event with Matt Davis of Slater Mill.  The Rotary Club of Pawtucket most recently has sponsored a variety of projects including lighting Pawtucket’s historic landmarks, providing dictionaries to Pawtucket students, helping fund the eradication of polio and supporting several local Pawtucket nonprofits.

“Pawtucket Rotarians have a long history of supporting the community with our mission to provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through its fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders,” said Davis, the raffle’s co-chair.

The 1.2 million Rotarians who make up more than 34,000 Rotary clubs in nearly every country in the world share a dedication to the ideal of Service Above Self. “Our Rotary4corners campaign embodies our international mission focus and global reach,” said Mann.

While the club has international ties, local club fundraising primarily supports the Pawtucket Community. Proceeds from the annual fundraising campaign will go towards a substantial $10,000 gift to the Slater Mill Museum for a new blacksmith attraction.
