  7. Adventures in Citizenship:  We are blessed to live in Canada and you can change the world!   After listening to Crystal Steel’s Adventures in Citizenship presentation this morning, it was very clear that we were well represented by this young lady.  Her busy schedule included the Canadian War Museum, Camp Fortune, Parliament (where they met with the Speaker of the House), talent shows, the University of Ottawa, Wabano Aboriginal Health Centre and more cultural stops.  The swearing in of new Canadian citizens was the highlight of her trip.

Vermilion Bike Rodeo:  After a little break, EMS, RCMP, AHS, the Town of Vermilion and the County of Vermilion River will be hosting a bike rodeo on June 14 at 3:45 PM.  All ages and abilities of riders are encouraged  to attend with their parents (not mandatory) to learn proper bike technique and safety (on the tarmac next to VES).  There is no cost for children to  attend and no registration is required.  The Rodeo Committee is asking for $725 ($500 for helmet purchases and $225 for snacks).  Request  to be discussed at the next executive meeting.
