Amanda Adams $2. For Kevin Adams, who will be shaving his head to raise funds for pediatric cancer! Seven students from Bishop Feehan will be doing the same!
Michael Andrade: $5. He was happy to be back at a Rotary meeting and see so many familiar faces!
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Auction: $33,000 was raised this year! A big shout-out to Chris Corso, who secured many donations! There are still a number of items left from the Auction. Jim will send a listing of items for purchase; let him know if you are interested in purchasing any or all of them. Any leftover items will be auctioned off at an upcoming meeting!
Golf Tournament: Tom Kelly reported that the planning is going well. In the next few weeks, he will send an email to the membership about the event!
Scholarships: four will be awarded to Attleboro High School students, and one to a student from Norton High School. Both schools are holding their Senior Class Night on May 28th, so Scott Jones will attend one, and Matt Flanagan will attend the other. The scholarship luncheon will be held on Wednesday, May 27th, from 12-1pm at Attleboro High School's Blue Pride Bistro!
Installation Night: will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2026. More details to come!
Fire in North Attleboro: Scott Jones informed the group that 150 residents were displaced due to a large fire in North Attleboro. He had reached out to the Rotary Club of North Attleboro to see if we could be of assistance - looking into donating $25 Walmart gift cards - the details are being worked out, and the Board will need to take a vote!
