TODAY'S SPEAKER: Brian McCafferty, Team Building for Businesses
Brian spoke about the importance of team in the workplace. Doesn't matter if it's in person, remote, or hybrid. A good manager will understand the traits of those employees and create an environment where all can succeed. He always uses the Rotary 4way test. We should ask ourselves, what motivates us, what motivates the team? What are the common goals and shared vision of the team? We need to provide something valuable to our employees - and it's not money, it's knowledge. You need to train everyone so that they are mentors. However, you need to know that employee's will leave your company, which isn't always negative. They need to grow as does the company. Lastly, you need to set realistic goals and use realistic analytics which will help create accountability throughout the team.
