Father Bill's & MainSpring

Club members regularly roll up their sleeves to prepare and serve meals through Father Bill's & MainSpring, standing alongside individuals and families working to rebuild stability. It's hands-on service — the kind that reminds us why we joined Rotary in the first place.

Thesaurus Project

A strong vocabulary opens doors — in the classroom and beyond. Each year, our club places thesauruses directly into the hands of elementary students across the three towns, giving them a tool they can keep and use as they grow. It's a small gift with a lasting impact on how a child reads, writes, and thinks.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Public Library Support

Libraries are more than shelves of books — they're study spaces, internet access points, and gathering places for our towns. We support the public libraries of Bridgewater, East Bridgewater, and West Bridgewater because strong communities need strong public resources, and libraries remain one of the few places open to everyone, free of charge.

Food Pantry Support

Nobody should have to choose between paying rent and putting food on the table. That's why we contribute regularly to food pantries serving Bridgewater, East Bridgewater, West Bridgewater, and Bridgewater State University. Whether it's a family stretching a tight budget or a student balancing tuition and groceries, our support helps make sure help is there when it's needed.

Bridgewater Peace and Beyond


Peace starts close to home. About five years ago, a Rotary Peace Fellow and member of our club discovered the International Cities of Peace designation and asked a simple question: why not Bridgewater? That question led to the founding of a local consortium — bringing together civic groups and churches — that meets each year ahead of International Peace Week to plan activities welcoming residents, families, and children to take part. Our club also works with the Bridgewater Town Council to secure an annual declaration recognizing the town's commitment to peace. Today, the Rotary Club of the Bridgewaters continues to support this growing local tradition alongside our community partners.

Blood Drives

Every blood donation has the power to save a life, sometimes several. We organize community blood drives throughout the year to help keep local hospitals and health centers stocked when emergencies happen. It's one of the simplest ways our community shows up for each other.
