George"Jay"Asack Memorial Community Service Award

The goal of this Award is to honor the memory of the late George “Jay” Asack ( 1923 – 1998 ) who had a positive impact on the lives of the citizens of West Bridgewater. He was a prominent businessman in the Town. Known as Jay, he was a Charter Member of the Rotary Club of the Bridgewaters. Jay would volunteer his services and resources of the building, the grove, and golf driving range at Jay’s Playland on North Main St. at the corner of Matfield St. He assisted the Club to obtain its objectives of goodwill for the benefit of the communities served and the sustaining of projects worldwide. He
believed in service to his fellow man. This Award is created to confer distinction upon a graduating senior who is a West Bridgewater resident who has achieved accomplishments through varied activities of community service and plans to further his/her education either academically or technically following high school graduation from West Bridgewater
Middle/Senior High School.
