DR. V. JAMES DiNARDO MEMORIAL COMMUNITY SERVICE AWARD

The goal of this award is to honor the memory of the late Dr. V. James DiNardo who had a positive impact on the lives of the citizens in the area through his service as an educator, school and college administrator, trustee of Bridgewater State College Foundation, as a Rotarian, Past President of the Bridgewaters Rotary Club, Past District Governor for Rotary District 7950, and as song master extraordinaire. Dr. DiNardo was a teacher, School Principal, College Professor, and College administrator, retiring as Executive Vice President of Bridgewater State University. Dr. DiNardo’s wisdom and indefatigable presence are greatly missed. This
award is created to confer distinction upon a graduating senior who is a Bridgewater resident who has achieved accomplishments through varied activities of community service, and plans to further his/her education following high school graduation from Bristol-Plymouth Regional Technical School.
