Rotary RAP, June 6, 2017
This month in...Rotary Club of Spruce Grove.

1.  Thursday, June 8.  Lobsterfest report, debrief and discussion.  An important meeting and discussion of our major fundraiser.

2.  Thursday, June 15th.  Champions of Good,  Presentation and Celebration.  We will conclude this event with a presentation and celebration by presenting our co host, Goodwill Industries, one of our major partners and the City of Spruce Grove, with the art work that is signed by all of the youth, co hosts and partners.  It is beautiful.

3.  Thursday, June 22nd.  Mayor Stuart Houston.  Mayor Houston will be providing an update on the cities major initiatives. (plural!!)

4.  Thursday, June 29th.  Reminder...Wow...look at this evening and event.  Changeover and celebration.

Local Celebrity Chef and Chopped Canada Junior Winner, Jonathan Giovannoni will prepare a sumptuous meal for Rotarian's and guests as we celebrate the accomplishments of the 2016-2017 Rotary Year and look forward to the year of service ahead.

Thirteen-year-old Jonathan attends Greystone Centennial Middle School in Spruce Grove and was this season's winner of Chopped Canada Junior.  He doubled his winnings from that event and donated $10,000 to the Stollery Make a Wish Foundation.  Come be inspired by Jonathan's incredible story of living with inoperable brain cancer and following his passion of creating delicious masterpieces in the kitchen.

After dinner, you will be astounded by the magic and mind-reading of David Thiel.  David has been performing feats of mind-reading and magic since 1990, and his show is bound to leave you wondering just how he does it!

This family-friendly event is open to Rotarian's, their families, and friends of the club, so please share this invitation!
