1.  Sept. 28th  Spruce Grove Public Library Update.   Leaanne Maggland Carter and Tom Slater.  Headline from recent Examiner.  "Spruce Grove Library reaching critical mass"  Also if interested below is an invite to attend an event tonight, Tuesday, Sept. 26th from 7 to 9 at the library.
 
Join us in the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the Spruce Grove Public Library and gather with our municipal election candidates for an evening of community conversation about arts, culture, and heritage in Spruce Grove. It'll be unlike anything you’ve experienced yet! Refreshments will be served. 
 
2.  Oct. 5th.  You Can Ride 2, Update.  Melanie Harris and Janine Halayko.  
 
3.  Oct. 12th. Membership Update.
 
4.  Oct. 19th.  Discussion of the Rotary Club of Spruce Grove and our direction for celebrating our 25th Anniversary.

Rotary Club of Spruce Grove Appreciation Pancake Breakfast.  Saturday, Oct. 28th, Links Golf Course.  Our primary objective is to show appreciation to our donors and supporters, to create awareness of the service we provide and to recognize/celebrate our 25 years of this service.
 
Catherine Pederson has an agent trip to the Dominican Republic. She has the ability to take 50 lbs of donations intended for a local orphanage.  If any Rotarian would like to donate any of...a. hygiene items, (soaps, toothpaste, toothbrush), or, b.  school supplies, (colored pencils, crayons, notebooks) please contact her this week, before Friday, or bring items to the meeting Thursday.  Thanks.
