Founded in 1989, the Rotary Club of Yarmouth is a group of over 80 volunteer business and professional men and women who believe in community service and fellowship.  The club is part of Rotary International, a worldwide organization of over 1.2 million members engaged in projects concerning disaster relief, youth services, global health issues, literacy and many other programs under the broad heading of "Service above Self".

Locally our primary mission is to provide youth aide primarily in the form of scholarships to high school seniors at Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School and scholarships and tool ships to Cape Cod Technical High School.  We also distribute world atlases to 5th graders in Yarmouth elementary schools, weekly deliver meals-on-wheels to local senior citizens, monthly feed the homeless at Champ House, annually host a Holiday party for disadvantaged children and families. We honor Cape Tech and D-Y High School students each month during the school year with "Rising Star" awards recognizing their accomplishments and achievements. Throughout the year we provide various services to the elderly and support and participate in numerous local "Good Works" projects in the Yarmouth community.

Internationally, we fund the Rotary International missions to eradicate Polio, provide funding and projects for clean water, participate in worldwide disaster relief missions and work in a variety of health and human service missions.

The Rotary Club of Yarmouth is comprised entirely of volunteers.  Our Yarmouth Rotary Club Board of Directors is comprised of fourteen officer and directors from our membership. We have a 501-C3 foundation called the Yarmouth Rotary Foundation.   The Yarmouth Rotary Foundation Board of Directors in comprised of ten officers and directors from our membership.
